Welcome to RegSQL. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the RegSQL website and services located at regsql.com (the “Service”), operated by RegSQL (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

1. Description of Service

RegSQL provides AI-powered tools for generating SQL queries and regular expressions (regex). Our Service includes:

• AI SQL Generator — Generate SQL queries from natural language descriptions
• AI Regex Generator — Generate regular expressions from plain language descriptions
• Regex Tester — Test and validate regex patterns in real time

Subscription Plans

Early-bird pricing (20% discount) applies for subscriptions started before June 10, 2026.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use RegSQL only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Abuse the API — Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limiting, or access controls
• Scrape or crawl — Automatically extract data from the Service without permission
• Reverse engineer — Attempt to reverse engineer or extract the underlying AI models
• Resell without permission — Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written consent
• Violate laws — Use the Service for any illegal activity or to violate others' rights
• Disrupt the Service — Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Impersonate — Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any violation of these terms without prior notice.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

RegSQL uses AI to generate SQL queries and regex patterns. Important limitations:

• AI-generated content is provided for reference purposes only
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, correctness, or fitness for any particular purpose of generated queries or patterns
• Generated SQL queries should be reviewed and tested before use in production databases
• Generated regex patterns should be validated against your specific data before deployment
• RegSQL is not liable for any data loss, security breaches, or system issues resulting from the use of AI-generated content

Always review AI output before using it in critical or production systems.

5. Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of any queries, schemas, or inputs you provide to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely to provide the Service.

Our Content

RegSQL's website design, branding, logos, and non-AI-generated content are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our proprietary content without written permission.

AI-Generated Output

SQL queries and regex patterns generated by our AI are provided to you for your use. We do not claim ownership over the specific outputs generated for your inputs.

6. Payment and Billing

• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, in advance
• All prices are listed in USD
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for the subscription amount
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date

Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day refund policy for new subscriptions. If you are unsatisfied with your paid subscription within 7 days of the initial purchase, contact us at support@regsql.com for a full refund. Refunds are not available for:

• Subscriptions older than 7 days
• Annual plans after the 7-day window has passed
• Accounts that have violated these Terms

7. Service Modifications and Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Modify the Service — Change features, pricing, or functionality at any time
• Discontinue features — Remove or discontinue any part of the Service with notice
• Terminate access — Suspend or terminate your access for Terms violations
• Suspend for maintenance — Temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance or upgrades

We will provide reasonable notice for material changes to paid plans. For free plan users, changes may take effect immediately.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• RegSQL's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• This includes loss of profits, data, or goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Generated content will be accurate or complete
• The Service will meet your specific requirements

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in courts located in the United States.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
